Hulk Hogan's estate sells Clearwater Beach mansion for $5.9 million

Hulk Hogan's estate has sold his longtime Clearwater Beach mansion for $5.9 million and a separate cottage next door for $2.8 million. The combined reported sale value is $8.7 million, and it remains unclear whether the same buyer purchased both homes.

The mansion's final price was about $5.1 million below its original $10.98 million asking price. It went through several reductions after being listed in January, with the asking price falling to $6.9 million by September.

Hogan bought the larger property in April 2012 for approximately $3.33 million. The roughly 5,400-square-foot, three-storey Clearwater Beach home has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms and direct access to the Gulf of Mexico.

The sale prices alone do not establish how much the estate ultimately received: transaction costs, taxes and other expenses may affect the proceeds. The buyers' identities have not been publicly confirmed.
