Country singer Luke Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, turned a 150-acre former cow pasture outside Nashville, Tennessee, into Red Bird Farm. The property, which they bought in 2012, is now their home and includes a space for rescued animals.

The couple built a bass lake, fulfilling Bryan's childhood wish to live beside a lake where he could fish. Excavation left 140 tons of rock; some of it went into fireplaces, a sunken courtyard and stone fences.

The farm's three main buildings are a 10,000-square-foot main house, a guesthouse and a 7,000-square-foot party barn. The couple hired Nashville designer Chad James to work on the buildings. They stayed in the 1,800-square-foot guesthouse while the main house was under construction.

Brett's Barn is dedicated to rescued animals and is part of the Brett Boyer Foundation. Its animals include donkeys, pigs, turkeys, llamas and miniature goats, with some arriving through local rescue groups. Bryan has said he does not know how many animals live on the property.
