Samsung Electronics to release final Q3 results on the morning of the 29th

Samsung Electronics is scheduled to release its final results for this year's third quarter and hold a conference call on the morning of the 29th.

Samsung Electronics previously disclosed preliminary results on the 8th, reporting revenue of 195 trillion won and operating profit of 107.4 trillion won. These were preliminary figures released ahead of the final results.

On a preliminary third-quarter basis, revenue rose 126.6% and operating profit increased 782.5% from a year earlier.

Samsung Electronics said during its second-quarter conference call that it was pursuing a plan to operate 60–70% of its total memory production capacity under long-term supply contracts.

Regarding shareholder returns, it projected in an August disclosure that remaining funds under its 2024–2026 policy would amount to 90–110 trillion won.

Samsung Electronics plans to pay about 30 trillion won of those funds in cash dividends, including the regular third-quarter dividend. The specific amount and payment arrangements are scheduled to be finalized by the board at the end of this month.
