Samsung Electronics said it plans to launch Galaxy Buds On, the first clip-style wireless earbuds in the Galaxy Buds series, in South Korea on the 27th.

The earbuds will be available in black only, priced at 299,000 won. Sales are planned through Samsung.com and online retailers, including online marketplaces, as well as physical outlets including Samsung Stores nationwide.

Galaxy Buds On sit on the ear without blocking it. The design aims to reduce the burden of prolonged wear and allow users to hear surrounding sounds while listening to music.

Audio features include a TwinBoost speaker for stronger bass and sound leakage reduction technology, introduced for the first time in the Galaxy Buds series. The latter is designed to reduce sound escaping from clip-style earbuds.

Some sound may still be audible outside the earbuds depending on volume, ear shape and ambient noise, and this may be more noticeable in quiet settings. Actual performance may also vary with the environment and fit.
