Meta announces stock offering to raise $95 billion for AI infrastructure
Meta announced it is launching a stock offering on Monday to raise $95 billion to build out artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Meta announced that it is launching a stock offering on Monday with the aim of raising $95 billion for AI infrastructure. The announcement describes a fundraising plan to build out that infrastructure.
The company is introducing two stock offerings and says the investments will support opportunities for further spending on AI, as well as its existing apps and business ventures. The offerings have drawn interest from Nvidia and AMD.
Meta said its AI investments are already producing returns through greater engagement, better advertising performance and increased monetization. It also said it is pursuing opportunities in personal superintelligence, consumer and business agents, enterprise products and AI glasses.
Nvidia, Advanced Micro Devices and Broadcom have expressed interest in buying a combined $5 billion of Meta's Class A common stock, Meta said. The companies expressed that interest individually, rather than as participants in a joint investment.
