Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, says he wants to repair his relationship with his family and regards working toward reconciliation as the most important thing to him.

Asked whether he grieves the complicated relationship with his father and sibling, Harry said he does. He described disagreements between siblings and broken relationships between parents and children as experiences shared by many families.

While promoting his MasterClass about dealing with grief, he said family relationship difficulties repeatedly come up in conversations with people he meets. He suggested that their familiarity helps explain public fascination.

He also suggested that people watching his family might look at how they resolve their difficulties and use that experience to help work through relationship problems of their own.

Harry and his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, stepped away from their full-time duties as members of the royal family in 2020.

Harry and Meghan recently returned to the United Kingdom, moving to London in August with their two children after spending six years in California.
