Park Kyung-hye said she had found housing matching her circumstances and completed an application for a long-vacant rental apartment. She disclosed the application but did not say whether she had actually been selected as a tenant.

In a video released on the YouTube channel Hyeri on the 9th, Hyeri asked Park Kyung-hye what she had done recently. Park replied that she had applied for a long-vacant rental apartment after visiting a hospital.

Long-vacant purchased rental housing consists of purchased rental homes supplied by public institutions that have remained empty without tenants for a certain period and are offered again with some eligibility requirements relaxed. Depending on the property, rents may be below those in the surrounding market; actual eligibility and rental terms vary by provider and recruitment notice.

Park Kyung-hye previously shared her life in a six-pyeong studio apartment in Seoul's Gangnam district on MBC's entertainment program I Live Alone and her personal YouTube channel, among other outlets. The home she showed at the time required a 50 million won deposit, with rent and maintenance fees totaling approximately 590,000 won.
