No Going Back PAC reserves $1.7 million in Washington House race

No Going Back PAC has reserved advertising in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District, where Republican John Braun is challenging Democratic Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez.

No Going Back PAC has reserved $1.7 million in advertising time in Southwest Washington’s 3rd Congressional District. The race pits Trump-endorsed Republican challenger John Braun against Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, the Democratic incumbent serving her second term.

Braun, a Republican from Centralia who leads the state Senate Republicans, received Trump’s endorsement in April. He has welcomed that backing while also saying that he intends to run an independent campaign.

Gluesenkamp Perez enters the fall contest with a fundraising advantage. FEC summaries put her total raised at more than $6 million, compared with roughly $2 million for Braun, following her head start as the incumbent.

A separate PAC financed by labor groups and liberal donors, Together for Working People, has spent about $110,000 backing Gluesenkamp Perez and opposing Braun, FEC reports show.
