The public principles for selection, sourcing, automated writing, verification and corrections.
Market-specific selection
Each market uses an approved local source set, its own reporting window and local relevance signals. Global stories enter an edition only when they clear that market’s relevance and evidence thresholds.
Sources
News reports remain in the internal verification ledger. Public story pages show only first-party evidence from governments, public bodies, international organizations, or the company directly involved. News links are not used as a public substitute when no official source is available.
Independent verification
Writing and verification are separate runs. Required checks cover claims, sources, names, dates, numbers, translation risk and high-impact safety concerns. A failed required gate withholds the story.
Corrections
Confirmed errors are blocked or linked to an explicit correction while internal evidence, public official sources, and publication history are retained.
